Ensartech stands for ENergy Smelting And Recycling TECHnology. A company that – as indicated in its name – has the core competence of mastering high temperature processes in which highly polluted waste streams are converted in various types of energy and simultaneously mastering clean slag production. Ensartech is therefore closing the environmental cycle. This is also symbolised in the logo of Ensartech by the circle shaped arrow.
Waste Streams - Societies increasingly produce waste including highly poluted waste. A vast number of companies, initiatives and technologies is trying to master this problem. However, Ensartech is unique and brings a new solution. The unique Ensartech technology enables us to process almost all kinds of highly polluted waste and residual streams of various industries leaving no pollution. Therefore the focus of Ensartech is on those streams that are currently very difficult to process or for which are no appropriate solutions available.
Energy - People not only are in need of a clean environment, they also need more and more energy. The Ensartech technology is therefore a double-edged sword: it contributes to a cleaner environment and efficiently provides energy out of the processed waste.
Small Scale and Decentralized - Governments more and more regulate that pollution has to be processed on the spot by the pollutor. Lead by the changing legislation the need for small scale technologies that can be applied decentralized will increase (especially with industries). The Ensartech technology is such technology with its 25 kt smelting capacity that can be scaled modularly to (much) larger capacities.
Global Business Outroll - As a first step in realizing its mission Ensartech is currently building its first plant in Delfzijl (Ensartech-NL1). Being a fully operational plant it will demonstrate the excellent results that can be achieved with the Ensartech technology. It will also offer the possibility to show to various interested parties how the technology can be applied to their specific situation. Simultaneously Ensartech will identify other national and international locations that are suitable for the Ensartech technology being potentially stand alone plants, plants dedicated to certain industries or plants as an add-on to incineration plants.
